Zagi-XS Conversion

Converting the Zagi XS, Zagi-Tazz and the Zagi-60 to the Zijji motor mount

Remove the motor tray.

Cut away any of the battery bay floor that extends behind the center plywood spar.
Cut the foam away from the plywood spar but be careful not to cut or nick the wood.
Use a razor knife or a sharp kitchen knife to make a cut along the plywood spar long enough to center the aluminum motor mount.
 Fit the motor mount and mask off the areas of the mount that do not need glue. Work 3M #77 adhesive into the slot. Spray the unmasked parts of the motor mount with #77 adhesive. Push the mount in place while the glue is wet. Tape or clamp the center section of the mount to the spar. Leave the glue to set overnight.

A shortened version of the Zijji hatch is used. Exit fairings are included in the CONVERSION KIT available now. The front of the battery bay may be extended forward to make balancing with Li-Po batteries easier.
