The motor mounts are Abrasive Water-jet cut 6061-T6 aluminum. The ZGI Motor Mount is the bent 14.25" mount on the left designed for Inrunner motors

The difference between the ZGI and the ZGO motor mounts is the offset. The ZGI (left) has is formed with an offset. The reason for the offset is to extend the distance between the prop and the mount. The distance improves the efficiency of the prop and reduces the noise produced by the prop. The ZGO (right) is flat because the outrunner is a rear mounted motor which separates the prop from the mount.
